Dan Crisp - Acoustic Singer/Songwriter
Singer songwriter Dan Crisp was discovered in 2004 by our now A&R representative Alan Bray. At the time Alan was a renowned session musician and a partner in the Cornwall based artist development project ‘Upbeat’. Shortly after meeting Dan, Alan took the lead with Dan’s development forming session band ‘GenericaDemo’ performing Dan’s original songs in a professional studio environment working with industry renowned Producers & Engineers, Malcolm Toft, Chris Grey & Tim Powell-Morris.
Since 2004 Dan Crisp has developed into an accomplished session musician working for artists and projects such as Martin Barre (Jethro Tull), Swans in Flight and State of Fury. Along side this, Dan has established a strong reputation as a singer songwriter for the depth of his song writing and his unique engaging voice. In 2007 Dan worked with producer Mark Tucker to produce his debut acoustic album – ‘Far From Here’. It was successfully released in the summer of 2008 and is now available online, through amazon.co.uk and iTunes.
